About Batter Bakery
Batter Bakery was founded in 2008 by owner Jen Musty out of a passion for baking. Jen had no prior experience in the food industry, but has been baking and cooking with her mom since she was young. Batter Bakery cookies use premium ingredients and will satisfy everything from an afternoon sweet tooth to an elegant event.
Jen has a few tricks to making her delicious cookies stand out above the rest. For one, she recommends a drier dough which yields a puffier cookie that has less spread and less “cakeyness”. Another is to have high-gluten flour to give her cookies the chew and crust that they’re famous for. Finally, she ages her dough a day or two in the fridge (no freezing). This gives the cookie a more complex flavor.
